Charles Baker

Strength Coach

Charles Baker has been heavily dedicated to the fitness industry since 2008. Charles is an NFPT certified personal trainer with several other distinctions including:

  • Certified TRX® Master Trainer

  • Certified Resistance Training Professional™ through NPI with a focus on posture

  • USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach

Charles has always had a passion to push himself harder. He has participated in a 500-mile charity bike ride through Massachusetts, numerous charity runs, including the Boston Marathon, and several obstacle course runs, such as Tough Mudder. Charles has also placed in several regional Strongman competitions. Through his personal experience in competitions that require skills ranging from endurance to pure strength, he is aware of the changes a body can and must go through before and after exercise. He is therefore able to work with his clients to form a variety of personal fitness goals and push them to surpass their own expectations.

Charles is well-known in the Boston area for his charisma and ability to provide individualized attention, even within group environments such as classes and small group training sessions. Charles is available to help you with your fitness goals, whether they be weight loss, muscle gain, supplemental sports training (e.g. off-season sports training for collegiate athletes) or maintenance. Chris Johnson

Strength Coach

Chris Johnson is a nationally recognized Fitness Consultant & Athletic Performance Coach who has made appearances on NECN, The Boston Globe, and Runner's World Magazine. Chris is a highly knowledgeable expert in the field of human performance enhancement. He is currently pursing his doctorate in Sports Management and Leadership with a research emphasis in Sports, Fitness, & Health and already has numerous certifications in performance enhancement and injury prevention as well as experience at Harvard University. 

Over the years Chris has gathered tremendous experience in athletics as a collegiate Head Strength & Conditioning Coordinator as well as a collegiate Assistant Cross Country & Track and Field Coach.Chris is also the author of PR Pace | Strength & Performance Training for Distance Runners.

Chris is also an officer in the United States Army National Guard and an adjunct professor at the undergrad and graduate level.

Brendan McCaffrey

Strength Coach

Brendan is a competitive powerlifter with a passion for helping others find their true strength, both physical and mental. A Senior in the Sports Management program at Lasell College, Brendan found his passion for fitness while serving in the United States Marine Corps where he focused on tactical, strength and cardiovascular training for up to 20 Marines at a time. Brendan is an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer who is also studying for his Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification. 

Brendan spent the last year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Belmont High football team; focusing on athletic development, meaningful strength, injury prevention as well as posture and sport specific exercise.
